Monday of Each Month Monday, Meet at Activity Office, 11am Drive on your Own Meet at Restaurant - 11:30 am Sign up in the Activity Office Green Bee Produce--Bringing the farmer's market to you Every Tuesday during/after Coffee and News. 40-50 different fruits and vegetables (in season), local honey, fresh breads from Alpine Valley Bread Co. Superstition Center parking lot, 8:30 - 11:30 am. Schwan's Every Tuesday, 8:30 - 11:30 am. Superstition Center parking lot. Line Dance with DeeDee in the Superstition Center (we will move during Board Mtg Days) Started Tuesday, November 1st. - Every Tuesday 1:30 - 2:00 pm Brand New Beginners 2:00 - 3:00 pm Beginners 3:00 - 4:00 pm Easy Intermediate Board Meeting Tuesdays Line Dancing will be moved to a Sunday. Yoga with Deborah Fridays, October through April, Sunset Room - 8:30 - 9:50 am $8.00 per class or 5 classes for $35.00, 10 classes for $60.00 Monday Night Bingo 7 pm in Superstition Center, Labor Day through Memorial Day. Cost is $10 for playing 15 games. Prizes are as high as $150 for Pot of Gold game, which costs $1.00 per ticket. Regular game payout is according to how many people attend. Coverall is $50 payout. Any questions, call Joan Archer at 288-0891. Card Bingo Pickle Ball Players Mike encourages all to come out for Pickle Ball. Classes are scheduled for 11 am on Mondays. Interested: - You can find someone playing almost every day from 7 - 9 am. All are eager to share their enjoyment and skill with anyone who may be interested. There is free equipment for residents to use, kept in the weight room, just to the left when you enter the room. Wooden paddles, balls are on the court - If you like the sport after you've had a try at it, you can join our club for a big donation of $10 per year - to help defray the cost of the balls that are used. Greeting Card Classes with Millie Hart1-3 pm - Ocotillo Room. 5 cards for $10. Come and spend a relaxing and creative two hours. Millie is there to help if needed. Enjoy the fun and go home with new greeting cards. 2012 dates: Feb. 7, 8, 9; Mar. 6, 7, 8; Apr. 3, 4, 5; May 1, 2, 3; June 6, 7.
Wii Bowling Every Thursday, 1 pm, meet in the Superstition Center and play Wii games. Come and join the fun. Free! Ladies Whine and Cheese Party Every Monday - 4 pm, Superstition Center. Come chat with your friends or meet some new ones. BYOB and wine. $1 for cheese and crackers. Canyon Cookout Wednesdays, at 11:30 am - 1 pm. Sunset Room - Hamburger or Chicken Sandwich, Potato Salad, Beans, Chips, Desert & Beverage Have Lunch, Meet with neighbors, make new friends. $5.00 / person. Ladies BridgeLadies Bridge meets every Monday at 1 pm in the Sunset Room. The first Monday of each month is a potluck at noon. We each put in 50 cents for small money prizes. You can sign up one week in advance, but you must get a sub if you cannot play. Walk-ins are welcome; however you must arrive before 1 pm. Contact Barb Osborn at 982-9408. Couples Bridge Couples Bridge meets every Thursday at 1 pm in the Sunset Room. Singles are always welcome; you do not need to bring a partner. Come early to sign in; first come first play. When: Thursdays. Just plain fun, for gals - Call Mary at (480) 671-9838 for details. Golf - Ladies - Nine Hole Mondays at 8 am. Augusta Ranch Golf Course - (Ellsworth, south of Baseline). For more information, call Marlies at (480) 983-3122. Golf - The Cooney Men's Golf League Come and join the fun. Enjoy golfing with friends and neighbors. Pinochle MountainBrook residents have three weekly opportunities to play organized pinochle.
Newcomers are always welcome. No advance sign up is needed; just show up by ten minutes before the hour to help with setup. You'll find a cordial group who will help you to adapt to our style of play. The Merry Widows A great group of single ladies laugh, go to the movies, go out to eat, play games, and enjoy each other's company. Join us the first Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am for a breakfast meeting at the Red Sage. Help us plan our activities for the month as well as future outings. Lone Butte Casino Bus Trips For dates, click here. Free Bus ride - $10 raffle on the bus there. When you arrive, you will receive $10 on your player's card. If it is your birthday, + or = one day, you get free bingo play in the afternoon. (Only 55 people per trip; don't miss out.) Bus leaves MBV 6:45 am; leaves casino at 3 pm. $108.90 per suite - 2 people. Here is a great
getaway trip for anyone who enjoys going to the casino in Payson. An hour and
half bus ride will take you to the Mazatzal Casino, where you will stay overnight in a hotel suite; all
rooms are non-smoking with a large flat screen TV in the sitting room and a separate bedroom area. Other amenities
include Wi-Fi, refrigerator, coffee and wet bar. The hotel has a pool and a spa.
